I have been involved in many prominent projects and organisations as Chair, adviser or Board member, in the UK and internationally, in both the private and public sectors. I have recently become an advisor on the government's National Identity Card Programme. Groups ranging from industry to the Metropolitan Police and the BBC ask me to speak from my experience on management and leadership.

My MBA has given me tools that have helped me with all of these diverse roles. When I did my Henley MBA, the modular structure meant I could carry on working whilst studying. The benefit of this was reinforced by Henley's highly practical approach. At Henley you constantly look at how management principles are applied in the real world. This was great for me. In my working life I've been able to build on the lessons.
