The MBA opened my eyes to all aspects of management from targeted marketing through to finance and human resources. Since the Board and Trustees at ENCAMS held Henley in such esteem, I have been able to put many of the solutions I learned there into action. Certainly planning and strategy are now a large part of the ethos of our organisation and our HR function (in particular our flexible approach to working) has attracted interest from the public and private sector.
Performance management is a weak point for many charities. This is not the case at ENCAMS, where our impact in everything from staff retention to training is recorded, giving our partners, sponsors and members an accurate, transparent reflection of the organisation's activities.
