The key support came from each other. The group structure that I found myself in during Week 1 remained supportive throughout the course. We would meet weekly when we were not in college, to go through our group and our individual projects. We all had something to give to the session and we all did. My personal triumph was that I learnt to type and understand spreadsheets. It's hard to believe that just 15 years ago a PC was not as widely used as we take them for granted today.

I finished Henley on a high. My self-worth had grown immeasurably and I felt confident about my future. My graduation was one of the happiest days of my life.
